Tadalis is recomened to be consumed only once per day. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Do not consume Tadalis in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Tadalis can be taken with or without food. Do not break or split a Tadalis tablet. Swallow it whole.10 mg orally taken prior to anticipated sexual activity is the maximum recommended dosing frequency, once per day in most patients. Alternatively, 2.5 mg orally once daily, without regard to timing of sexual activity. May increase to 5 mg orally once daily based on efficacy and tolerability.
People should not consume Tadalis if they are allergic to it. Do not consume Tadalis if you are also using a nitrate drug for chest pain or heart problems. This includes nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, and isosorbide mononitrate. Nitrates are also found in some recreational drugs such as amyl nitrate or nitrite ("poppers"). Consuming Tadalis with a nitrate medicine can cause a sudden and serious decrease in blood pressure.Consult your doctor or seek emergency medical attention if your erection is painful or lasts longer than 4 hours. A prolonged erection (priapism) can damage the penis.Stop consuming Tadalis and get emergency medical help if you have sudden vision loss.

Like all medicines Tadalis may also have some common side effects. Some of the common side effects are as follows:

  • vision changes or sudden vision loss;

  • ringing in your ears, or sudden hearing loss;

  • chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general ill feeling;

  • irregular heartbeat;

  • swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet;

  • shortness of breath;

  • seizure (convulsions);

  • a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out;

  • headache;

  • redness or warmth in your face, neck, or chest;

  • cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sinus pain, sore throat, cough;

  • upset stomach; or

  • muscle pain, back pain, pain in your arms or legs.

Missed dose
It is not a regular medication and thus not necessary to take on regular basis. Tadalis must only be taken when desired.

Overdose
Contact to poison control center or seek immediate medical attention, in case of drug overdose.

Drug interaction
The drug must not be consumed with nitrate-based medication. Taking nitrate-based drug in combination can lead to reduction in blood pressure causing dizziness, or fainting. Nitrate medications include Glyceryl trinitrate, Isosorbide dinitrate, Isosorbide mononitrate, Nicorandil and Amyl nitrate.
